The Chair from

the "Chair-Maker

of Chair-Makers"

CH24 Wishbone Chair

The feeling of sitting in a Wishbone Chair, writing with a Montblanc pencil in a notebook, with a cup of body temperature coffee from Ethiopia, thinking of the next moves for FFT and writing down my next hyperfixations on chairs. If I’m completely honest, I already have a set of three chairs I’m fixating over.

Oh Oh Oh the CH24. it was about time we would make a post about this iconic chair. This chair is the chair I’ve been obsessed with for many years. Last year, when we went to København for New Years, we had an Airbnb and who’d have thought of that, they had the chair. After using it during the trip, I’m even more obsessed.

Hans J. Wegner made a portfolio of chairs for multiple companies, but the Carl Hansen CH24, or the Wishbone Chair, is my favorite. Wegner is described as the chair-maker of chair-makers, and his CH24 Wishbone design is also known as The Chair.

The thing is, I’m the only one who loves the sitting experience. Many of my friends and my girlfriend don’t like the comfortability. I still love thinking about buying it because I would love my own signature chair.
